The 2026 Canadian Repair Convention will take place at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, located in the heart of Halifax’s South End campus.
Schulich is a leading centre for legal education and research in Canada, with a long-standing commitment to public interest scholarship, policy engagement, and interdisciplinary work at the intersection of law, technology, and society.
The Weldon Law Building offers modern teaching and event spaces designed to support dialogue, collaboration, and hands-on engagement. This makes it a natural home for a convention that brings together scholars, policymakers, repairers, industry participants, and community organisers.
The venue is fully accessible and equipped with modern audiovisual infrastructure, with dedicated spaces for panel discussions, roundtables, and interactive sessions. It is also within easy walking distance of downtown Halifax, waterfront areas, and many local amenities.
The 2026 Canadian Repair Convention is made possible through funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), and with support from the Law & Technology Institute and the MacEachen Institute for Public Policy & Governance at Dalhousie University.
